The artful curse over the world is now disenchanted.

pic_story_aglaia2A new adaptation of “Sleeping Beauty” after its creation 300 years ago in 1679 by French writer, Charles Perrault.
The princess is in a deep sleep, under a curse of a witch. The story of “Sleeping Beauty” was first published by Charles Perrault more than 100 years before the publication of the Grimm Fairy Tales. What Kris Kringle tried to achieve in this piece was to give thickness and depth to the story with bold, original ideas while keeping the allure of the traditional well-known fairy tale. In the original story, not much is elaborated on while the princess is asleep. However, in this version the main part takes place while the princess is under the curse.
How did the princess thwart the witch’s curse of everlasting sleep? While under the curse, she hung onto the partial memories she had and became aware of the artful gadgets hidden in the world. When the princess finds the key to disenchant the curse, the answer shall awaken the souls of the readers as well. This well-known fairy tale has been revived and arranged into a competely new story while keeping the original world in tact. The new Sleeping Beauty deepened by Kris Kringle is completely different from the original story with romance and has a dynamic story which reveals the truth hidden under the world.
